Very nicely done diagrams.
To me the red and blue wires on back of alternator are reversed. I see it as looking at the back of Delco alternator with the regulator pins at 4 oclock position. Left side (#1) is exciter and should go to switched 12 volts. Right side (#2) is voltage sensing and goes to always on 12 volts which is often connected to battery wire at output of the generator.
Also, on both diagrams, the wire supplying the oil pressure switch should go on other side of ammeter

Those diagrams are from Big Dean who used to post here on YT, he was a very experienced MF mechanic who passed away a few years ago.
