I'm putting my 65 diesel back together and wondered if anyone had a good wiring diagram? I was wondering also about that wiring loom you put on yours Sam40. Where did you get it and how pricy was it? It's been awhile since I took it apart. I lost some of my labels where I marked them. Shouldn't be bad to figure it out but a diagram sure would help.

I was meaning to get over your way, too much going on. Let me make sure I still have the loom. What that means is, let me see if I can FIND IT!

Brendon, I was given a box full of 65 parts when I got mine last summer. I have a wiring loom that was marked for a MF65, but it's surely not for a gas job, might be for a diesel. You're welcome to it if I can locate it.

Thanks Brent. I'll probably take you up on that. I've still got that bumper but it's under some snow for now. Hope to get over your way soon. Maybe uncle Willie will ride over with me!

Today's Featured Article - Harvestin Corn in Southern Wisconsin: The Early Years - by Pat Browning. In this area of Wisconsin, most crops are raised to support livestock production or dairy herds in various forms. Corn products were harvested for grain, and for ensilage (we always just called it 'silage'). Silo Filling Time On dairy farms back in the 30's and into the first half of the 40's, making of corn silage was done with horses pulling a corn binder producing tied bundles of fresh, sweet-smelling corn plants, nice green leaves with ear; the ...
