Many years ago I used to own a 1939 Massey 101 Super..In 1980 I sold it to a Massey collector thats since passed away... I have no idea where its at now..I've always wanted another one..
A friend that collects Masseys told me about a 1941 101 Super that was one hour away...So, on Monday we went and looked at it..My friend said that it wasnt for sale so I never even asked...As we were getting ready to leave the owner said that he had decided to sell it...He quoted a price that was fair so I bought it and hauled it home on Tuesday.
Here are some pictures of it..Thats the former owner standing by the trailer..Hes a real nice guy and was fun to visit with..
The last picture is my friends 101 Massey Super that he is restoring..It isnt that far from done..It sure runs nice..
When I got my 101 home I drained 10 gallons of water out of the rear end plus 3 more gallons out of the engine..Luckily I have a good "230" Chyrsler that I bought a few years ago for $125 complete with the trailer and welding unit that it powered..
