You do know some of the MF parts can be a lot harder to find and cost a lot more then the ford parts do???? The way you posted this I can not go and look at what you listed so can not help you as to if it is one of the good or bad ones. But you might think about say a 3000 series ford LOL

if the 135 diesel is in good shape, compared to an 8N ford you will think you have died and gone to tractor paradise.

Tillers are great and work the ground up like you just can not do with plow and disc.

Question: what is the hole in the front bumper for???? was there sometype hyd pump mounted to the front bumper.

good luck with the tractor,

question: does it start good, pto and lift work properly?

do not worry about the paint and powder, just be sure its in good mech condition.

take a buddy with you that has knowledge of these tractors if you can.

does it have multipower??????/ this can be a issue.

The MF 135, especially those equipped with the Perkins diesel engine are great utility tractors. It will do about twice the work as your 8N while using little more fuel.

I have a 2007 533, which is the latest rendition of the 135. I use it mostly for puling a heavy 6' rotary cutter and it serves this purpose well. AS compared to vintage Fords you will note that the non constant mesh transmission is much less user friendly and difficult to shift on the go as is easily done with the constant mesh Fords.

The tractor pictured has obviously seen loader work so check the front axle assembly and PS well. The PS system is prone to wear and is expensive to repair.

Note too, that the 24" tires and rims will prove much more expensive than what you are used to.

The price seems OK IF there are no major issues.

The price may be a little high. But the tiller has some value too.

If it runs good I don't think you could go wrong with that tractor.

Sacremento valley? With a wide rototiller? Doesn't look abused or needing anything as long as it sounds and rolls good, that is a fair price. And that is from someone who lives in an area where MF means less than nothing, and I prefer the cheapest deals I can find, but for where you are, see if the price is negotiable, even if not, that ain't bad...
