MF 135 wheel alignment problem

We bought a 60/70's model 135 for light duty work recently and started a renovation process that is progressing well. We have a current problem which is proving impossible to solve with our limited knowledge of the machine and I'm hoping someone can provide some assistance.

When working on a slope (sideways, not up and down the slope), the front wheel alignment (toe-in) opens up to a "toe out" position. As soon as we drive unto a level area, the problem corrects itself.

Anyone with suggestions how we can fix this problem?

Sounds like your tie rods are shot. You should be able to purchase just the ends with the ball joints, instead of the entire arm.
