Got a 1135 MF tractor that apparently has the shifting likage in a bind , its caught inbetween gears on the 1-2-3 shifter , any tips ?

usually can get it by messing around with the lever but otherwise you will have to look down by foot throttle and find the right rod for shifting and use pry bar to move it a little. hard to explain without being there. hope this helps

I know what your talking about ,i was gonna use a bar i just didnt want to cause futher headaches

Check for bent shift control rods, just one bent rod will cause shift lever trouble. Have also seen lower clevis and pins rusty, may need freed up. Adjust rods as needed for smooth shift neutral crossover, also see if there is a grease fitting on shift shaft, not sure on 05 series, earlier 1100 series did have one.

My 1130 does the same thing sometimes if I try to shift it "fast"... as long as you take your time going up then over no problem. If u try to go up and over in the same motion that is when u can get in trouble. Jerking up and down on the rods under the dash should free it up...u may need someone to push the clutch in while u r doing this.

It probably is not caught between gears, your shift lever is just out of position. Unscrew the plastic knob off the lever and take loose the 3 or 4 bolts that hold down the metal cover under the lever on the dash. Then take off the left side cover of the steering column. Then you can access the shifting forks, you can then take out the pin that connects the shifting forks to the shift lever and this will allow you to move the tranny into neutral then position the shift lever into neutral and reconnect everything. YES, been there and done that more times than I will admit. Been a couple years now, come to a complete stop shift slowly.
