I went to the nearest massey dealer to day and priced out some parts...so far I know I have to replace 3 gears, the one gear is 1800, the other one is 1200, and the last one is 500  Im going to do some more investigating and see if I could get some used parts, I dont like useing used gear parts but.......???????

I bought some used parts for my 65 trans when I was
working on it. I'm at work and the name of the outfit escapes me, but about 1/3 price of new and they were excellent
condition. Had them in 2 or 3 days. I'll try to remember to
post their name when I get home in the am.

I've had good luck, with Wenger's, Myerstown, PA. Give them a call, who knows, they may have what you need used, but without the big price tag!

I have had good luck with this company in Canada. They have lots of tractors they are parting out.

Wow! Those are some high prices. You may want to check with any gear manufacturers in your area to see if they could possibly have some made for you.

Hi Lyle, check with Kuhns Equipment 888-462-0070. They have multiple stores & parts tractors and Buening Implement 217-844-2383 also has MF parts tractors. Both are longtime MF dealers as well.

Cook Tractor salvage Clinton, Mo 660-885-2287

Abilene Machine, Solomom, KS 785-655-9455

And I may know of a couple dealers to hit up who may have some MF parts around.

Shockley Implement Hiawatha, Ks 785-742-7491

I told him that 2 weeks ago Phil. He is thick like that. His side of the family are all stubborn. That's why grandma didn't leave him anything in the will.
Fawcett were the guys that got my 165 Perkins gas back in action. The stuff got here in 2 & 1/2 days even thru customs. They are in my speed dial... I think Lyle wants to study the guts of this thing another few weeks. If he fixes it too soon, he might have to work outdoors again...
This would be a good time to do one of his top shelf paint jobs too, since he's got it in a million pieces.... kindofa hint?
