135 Multipower Issues

Hi all,
I am rebuild a 1965 135 Multipower gearbox for a friend. It is stuck in low, I checked all the linkage, oil ect the obvious things before I remove and stripped the 6 speed box. The clutch is ok but the pump is very scored and basically worn out.

My auxillary (Multipower) pumps bottom bolts onto the top of the main pump with 3 bolts. I have tried to find a new pump but all the pumps I have found from Sparex/Agriline parts ect are front mounted (like MF 200 series so I am told) and only have one drive gear where as the old pump has a drive gear and an idler gear.

I phoned the local dealer and they said there are a wide range choices available and wasn't much help.
I entered the pumps part number into google and it correspondes to some more newer MF part number which is a pump with front bolt mounting holes.

Someone must have come across this before, where can I get a new pump from apart from MF or do I have to get a bracket and retro fit a new style pump to the 135?

Thanks.

According to the late Big Dean, sourcing the old style pump is virtually impossible, and the option that's left is to retrofit the new style pump. This includes fitting the new style plates shafts and gears.

You need what is called a sandwich plate, which consists of 2 plates and an idler gear, the drive gear on the bottom(PTO) shaft may also need changed. I would look at a parts tractor or tractor wrecker for the parts but examine the holes in the plates for wear where the idler shaft goes through.
