JB Weld & Fuel Tank

After taking my 165 back to stock form with a mechanical fuel pump and brand new lines I noticed a small leak in my fuel tank. The leak is underneath the point where the line enters the tank near the front of the tank up top. Make note, it is not at the fuel shut off. I kind of want to buy a new tank but at the same time I'm thinking JB Weld might be a decent fix for the time being. Input?

Ive had luck fixing leaks with JB weld in gas tanks. Just make sure
they are empty and let it dry before you fill it.

I usually clean & solder them up....it won't sofen up after a while like J-B weld...just plain plumbing solder...make sure the tank is empty & purge with car exhaust while soldering....or take it to a good radiator repair shop...most will clean the tank & solder or seal it ...Shawn
