When traveling at moderate (road) speeds, I get a single loud "bang" when applying the brakes. The wheels do not seem to lock, or grab, and the brakes seem to work normally otherwise.
Any ideas?

i think i know what may be wrong. my dads 135 did the same thing for a long time it turns out that when i took the wheel off this year and looked at what may be wrong and found that the orange brake spring (for both wheels) was broken and not doing its job. i got some springs and put them on the brakes and the loud bangs stopped and the brakes actually worked very smoothly. i do not know why it was making the bang but the spring replacement stopped it from making the noise. hope that helps both of you.
