Injector Problem?

I just finished a valve job on a MF50 a3.152 and included rebuilt injectors. When I disconnect the fuel lines to the injectors to bleed the lines, air spews out of the #3 injector inlet when I turn over the engine. I can hook up #'s 1&2 fuel lines and get the engine running. But as soon as I hook up #3, the fuel system gets vapor locked.

Should I pull the number 3 injector and have it re-checked? Or, is there anything else I might be missing?

Hi,
When the line to number 3 is disconnected are you getting air (compression) out of the number three injector? If you do it would suggest a badly built or adjusted unit.
Remove the injector from number three and swap with number one. If the promlem moves, its the injector. It would be worth having them tested by your repairer. Tag the suspect faulty one.

I swapped them this morning and the problem moved. Off to the tractor store!
