I need the wiring diagram for a MF 165 diesel that shows the complete starting and charging circuits w/ components as well as a diagram for all of the lighting and gauges.

Thank you for your help,

Steven

You should find it in the operators manual, as it's there for our MF40. If you don't have one I think they are available off this site as well as elsewhere, including the dealer. MK

Hello,
You don't mention whether you have an American or UK made model or whether its alternator or dynamo. Here are two diagrams for the UK models with dynamo.

Sorry,

It is an American model and it has a alternator/generator.

Thank you for the pics and I hope this helps with the description of the problem.

This is a basic diagram which is the same for most 100 series tractors. It is actually a bitmap which I've put quite a bit of work into. I adjust it for each tractor.
The charge circuit is shown in the basic diagram (from David) and varies if the dynamo has been switched for an alternator.
I've recently worked on the wiring of my 165 and found it to be very origional, which is not often the case.
If you've got origional lights (Europe) which don't have seperate brake lamps you need to connect the wire from the brake switch to pin 5 of the turn switch. This gives american style brake lights. Other things like vacuum switch for the horn and plough lamp are also not shown.
