mf20 Year of tractor?

my serial # is 9a76838 and i can't figure out what year it is on the internet. does anyone know this? what is the difference between the mf2o and a mf135. is the mf20 more powerful since it is an industrial tractor.
 
As far as I know, the 20 is the same tractor as the 135. I had a turf 20, and the only difference was it had smaller rims, a high road gear(35 mph), and different fenders, and a big ROPS. If anything is different on a C-20, its likely the front end. Can't help on the year, sorry!
 
The tractor is a '69. Hard to know which 135 to
compare to since they had Cont. or Perkins gas or
Perkins diesel. A diesel was usually rated higher
in literature or sales book, since industrials
were rated by flywheel HP rather than PTO. Don't
know if that applies to all models and brands but
probably most. Chuck
 
No it's not more powerful, it's the same. My MF ind. book says the 20 came with either a Perkins gas or Perkins diesel engine, both excellent engines. Industrials usually have a foot throttle. A manual shuttle will have a foot throttle for sure. Ind. models also have stronger front axles/front ends often with bigger tires. Dave
 
Hi Dave, That is what I meant. It shows higher in
the old lit. and product books simply because of
the diff in test. Flywheel vs. PTO. I know the
eng is not more powerful.Chuck
