MF #41 Sickle mower blade replacement

I have a #41 DynaBalance sickle mower and use it to mow 5-10 acres of hay for my sheep.
I bought it used about 6yrs ago and had some small issues off and on with it plugging up. Some research showed me that i had some missing parts - as in the bottom cutter at the tip and the inside.
All that done it ran great! Now I just decided to replace all the sickle blades and like a big dummy didnt take a pic where the arm attaches to the sickle bar.... I can put the partially completed bar back in the mower and figure it out but it would really be nice if somebody was online and could tell me at which blade the drive arm piece is attached?

My mower is at the farm and I broke the strap off last week. It only goes on ONE way. Place the "knuckle" over the square-shaped section on the end, it should line up correctly. The blade end of the strap covers only one rivit hole in a section. The first THREE real sections have flush head rivits to allow the strap to fit over them, the rest of the rivits go through a section AND the strap- using longer rivits/bolts. I hope this is clearer than mud! BTW, the owner"s manual does NOT show the blade properly attached. I "might" be able to get a peek at mine later this week and will report back. Hope this helps!

I got it back together... When I took it apart i.e. removed the old blades, i left the 1/2 blade on the end. Looking at the diagram on the dealer computer that 1/2 blade is supposed to go on the tip, not the inboard side.
By the time I realized that, I had already strted to put sections back on. Apparently the PO had flipped the bar end over end at some point in time.

It cuts really well. Have the 1/2 blade inboard instead of the 1/2 dummy blade, full blade on the tip. Even cutting fine grass it hasn't clogged up except in turns.

Was able to go quite a bit faster than before with the old blades :)

Wonder if the bar was flipped on purpose?

The section on the far end "should" be a section and a half, the square section should go on the inboard end. The blade bar, which holds the sections, "should" be on the bottom of the sections. I have no idea why someone would flip it over.

The blade bar is at the bottom - I believe it was flipped end for end at some time in its life and since i never removed the 1/2 blade on the one end - and there's no real way to reverse the bar once there's any blades attached - it had to have been done by the PO...
So now it has the 1/2 blade on the inboard side - with a cutting edge, and a full blade on the tip.
I did pick up the section+1/2 but didnt put it on cos the 1/2 blade was in great shape. I think the newer 1 1/2 blades were to solve movement off the smaller 1/2 blade.
I mowed about 2 acres with it without any problems yesterday!
