MF 1100 closed center hydraulics

I have read that the MF 1100 uses closed center hydraulics? What does this mean for rear remote implements which have their own valves (ie, like a backhoe), must they be closed center as well?

You would need to replace the control valve "slices" of your backhoe, to ones that are compatible with the closed centre circuit. Because the system only supplies oil "as necessary", the slices would need the "return" oil ports blanked off, but they still have to have provision to return exhaust oil, from the rams, thru the control valve slices, to the reservoir.
