I hope this isn't a trend or there goes my retirement. I bought these at the flea market yesterday. The one with the poorer paint is the first version, with metal wheels and a three point. I gave $10 for it. The other one is what I always called the powershift version. Plastic wheels and two hydraulic filters. I gave $8 for that one.

You did good. But that seems to be the downward trend. When we did this house a few years ago, I told Marsha that if something happens to me that there are enough toys in the basement to pay off the house. Now they are only worth half what they were. Good thing the house is half payed off. LOL.

The market has been down a long long time I bought the number 1 John Deere precision for 60$ to my front door new in mint box still with the white paper covering the toy coin and booklet that was 10 years ago .60$ is about 50$ dollars cheaper than that model was brand new on the John Deere dealer shelf in 1991 or 2 . I remember when If you had the number 2 precision model A with mounted cultivator you really had something now with a little looking it?s around 120$ Mint in mint box the first tractors in the precision series had so much detail it was hard to believe . On my 4440 the cab door opens it has a quad range transmission and when you move the levers in the cab ir moves shift linkage on the transmission that one used to be a high dollar one as well

When the precision ford 8n came out, the local dealer had 6 on the shelf for $99. Couple years later they would fetch 250 or so if you could find one. I bought one this spring at a show for $45. Whats in now is the 1/64. Things come and go. Just the way it is.

I watch ebay for 3020's with cast rims. I Part them out. Currently there is a 3020 with cast rear and plastic fronts on ebay BIN for $12.00.

There was another vendor that had one like that. It was nicer than these two. He wanted $59 for that one. I don't remember what I paid for the repaint with all metal wheels and a three point that I have, back when they were hot,but I'm pretty sure it was more than that. That one wasn't cleaned up very good before it was painted and they have the decals on the wrong sides so they're rounded in front.

The group of guy that were buying these toys is getting older and a number of them are gone and younger people aren't interested.
