I am adding a 3pt hitch to my 60 Series JD. It is an original JD hitch. I have everything except the piece that bolts to the drawbar support. From online pics, it looks to be a steel plate or angle iron with a pint to connect lower lift arms. Anyone know a part number for those plates? Or what they are called?

Perfect. I have time later this week and should be simple enough with these details.

Thank You!

This company [Wengers] lists a pair, but they might be sold.

Here is a link to pictures of the 800 hitch parts. When you click on the link it will open a page that has ''Drawbar Frame Bracket'' about five items down the page. Click on ''Drawbar Frame Bracket'' and it will show a tiny picture of the brackets. Click on the tiny picture and it will take you to another page with a tiny picture, but at the top of THAT page click on ''Fullscreen View'' and it will make a nice viewable picture for you. In the morning I will get some measurements and pictures of the brackets mounted on the tractor.

If I were to make these brackets myself, I would remove the drawbar frame from the tractor, cut and drill the two pieces for each side, securely bolt the two unwelded pieces to each side of the drawbar mount, then weld the two pieces together on each side. I think you would get a perfect fit using that method. Those two finished pieces need to fit perfectly or they will forever work themselves loose.

You spelled it out perfect,PJH. What you advise in your second paragraph is the best procedure.

Sorry but I have no idea where you could find a pair.

If you know someone who has an 800 series hitch you could get the dimensions and make a pair.

The pieces you need are just called Brackets in the parts catalog.
The left hand bracket is p/n DA 5934 A.
The right hand bracket is p/n DA 5933 A.
