The glass covering my 2150 gage cluster had taken on so much water I couldn't read the gauges. I realized it was double glass, so I carefully drilled a small hole through the retaining ring in bewteen the two layers of glass. I did this in two places, then I thought I would blow out the moisture with compressed air. Instead, I shattered the outermost pane of glass. The single pane that remains, I wiped clean. An improvement, sort of.
The glass retaining ring does not look removeable. Does anyone have experience replacing glass in the 50 series tractors ? The double panes of glass is a nice idea, but it only remains clear for a limited number of years.
Thanks in advance.
