No brake pedal on right side

My 401 B has good brake pedal on the left brake, but the right side has nothing. I can pump it up and have some brake. Do the brakes operate off
the tractor hydraulic system? If I push both pedals together, they both go down all the way. What has to be done to bleed the right side? Stan

Here is the brake bleeding procedure from a 401/401A Operator's manual. I would be the same for your 401B and should be in the Technical Manual if it is not in the Operator's Manual.

Start with a good bleeding of both sides to see if it clears the issue.

Jim, that was easy enough, now I have pedal. When I opened up the bleed valve not much fluid come out, but at least I have pedal now. Thanks Stan

Stan, the slightest bit of air in those will do that.
The brake system on the little utility tractors is a manual system that is fed oil off the low pressure hydraulic side to keep the master cylinder reservoir full.
The larger Waterloo tractors have high pressure hydraulic oil fed to the brake valve and have power brakes when running and a warped brake plate or a little air in the brake pistons it will overcome that issue while under power, but when off you won t have enough volume in the manual brake pistons to pump up and get brakes. So most get a bad rap because if everything isn t right they basically have no brakes.
