Walter squires seat spring - worth it!

I just installed a seat spring from Walter Squires. This old one bottomed out at max with my 280 pound butt on it. I ran Squires to half and it rides nice! Cost me $225, but I wouldn t need to change it again for 30 years. Less than $10 a year for a seat that does not bottom out - well worth it!

I assume that the spring that you're talking about goes on your 20 series. Pretty positive that the Squires spring is the same spring as used on a 30 or 40 series. This is a stronger spring. When I rebuild my seats, I have always used a 30 or 40 spring. Like you stated the seat floats.
