Changing the engine oil on my 530. Noticed the drain plug washer A4827R ($2) is aluminum and filter cup attaching bolt washer A521R ($6) is copper. Both appear to be the same size. Why is the filter cup bolt washer copper? Are they interchangeable? Would the aluminum washer work and seal with the filter cup bolt?
