494 Planter Seed Hopper

Will the seed hopper from a 494 work on a John Deere 71 Planter Unit?

I don't know any thing about the unit planters. But that same box depending
on diameter of hoppers fits {clearance} all tractor drawn from the GP
tractor mounted 3 row planter up thru the 1200 series plate planters and I
think it would also fit the 7000 plate planters. Same plates would also fit
all these plus most horse drawn planters. So I am guessing thy would fit on
a unit planter depending on shape of box.
