Drained the hydraulic oil from my 1978 John Deere 4640 PS and found alot of brown looking debris(brass?) where can it come from?

I have owned the tractor for four years, and i have drained the hyd oil a couple of times, and every time I fine brass in the hyd oil. This time i drained it from the hole where the screen is, and i think it was alittle bit more brass debris this time.

The 3 point jerks a little when being raised and the steering also jerks alittle, but other than that the tractor work fine.

I know both axles was removed and work was done many years ago.

The largest piece looks more like a thrust washer that brass in brake pads. Have you checked hyd oil suction screen lately? If not I suggest you perform that task.
