1939 John Deere B Manifold

I am looking for a manifold for my 39 B but nobody has one in stock and the boackorder dates keep getting pushed back further and further. Will a manifold off of a Mid year B fit in its place or is there some
difference that wont allow it to be interchanged?

The manifold used on your '39 B, p/n B1313R, was unique to '39 and '40 model Bs.

The Steiner catalog also lists your manifold, their p/n JDS437.

The 39 is unique tractor. You will need the B1313R manifold. Every so often they pop up on ebay. Sharps tractor in Fair Grove MO may have one too.
