John Deere 430 tractor

My son has an issue with his JD 430 power steering. When he drives it down the road the steering shimmies really bad. It even will keep shimming after he
stops the tractor. Does the power system have air in it? Not sure what to check. Changed power steering fluid a few times. Still didnt help. Thank you with
any help you can give. Al

It may not be power steering causing problem. Check tie rod ends for wear, inner and outer. May also be loose in steering box.

I'm pretty sure the PS control valve is your problem. I've seen broken springs in them that can cause this, there is also an o-ring that acts as an internal damper that is supposed to prevent this problem. Not hard to work on or fix once the hood is off.
