Toss up Landfill compactor or the ethanol plant loader. The ethanol plant called thought they had an oil leak but it was just the rotten ddgs packed in oozing black liquid.
Kinda looks like you have a little leak there...oil cooler made that sludge?

When I was a kid in the 40's we used to pester the Ford garage across from city hall when the would overhaul city trucks and police cars that spent too much time idling. Many oil pans were filled with layers of crud.

O ring on the oil cooler has been leaking for several years always been going to get it in the shop never seen to find the time . Rocker arm cover has been leaking same thing Just never got around to it . Finally had some time this spring so Im resealing some leaks : talk about a mess

Its amazing to me how extremely sticky the stuff is I
