Help me out, please. I used to post here a LOT many years ago, then life got in the way and I took a few years off. I started
following again in about 2008, off and on, but not posting much.
Now the help part.

I can't access any of the threads that I was part of prior to about 2008 (about). There were some topics that I remember from
back then that I'd like to go back and read. Is it possible? Or was I gone long enough that the moderators closed my account for
lack of use? Understandable.

Second, back then, there was a poster that was beyond belief with the knowledge he had about Deere tractors. I know he was asked
almost daily for help. Always courteous, and could explain it so you could understand it. He did mention that he was getting
more questions than what he wanted, and it was wearing him down. Anyone that was posting and following here back then knows who
I mean, but I can't for the life of me remember his name. IIRC, he was an engineer of some sort. Who was that?

Most likely John T Electrical engineer. Very knowledgeable and a good guy. He still visits sight as I too used to do a whole lot more than now as others have picked up and my life has gotten too busy also to be frequent on here but still like to help when I sneak a peak once in a while. WTW

WTW, Maybe you could tell me if Deere gas pistons for a G will work with a Flat head?I know M&W styled are too much compression with flat head! wanting to build a strong G for plow Day,that does not require raceing fuel !thanks John.

Assuming you actually made replies in the post go to the Search button at the top. Then type in your user name in the ..Search for Author.. box then at the lower left click topics. This should give you all the post that you have had. You have to page back to the earlier posts. There may be a chance that some real early posts are not available not sure on that.

John. Tried calling you but got wrong number. Could not hear your recording very well to get your number right. You will be OK if you are below 10 to 1 ratio. Only way you will know is CC the combustion chamber. I got a set of .045 over cast G gas pistons I would sell with block, Block has a repairable issue. Good cylinder walls does not show much if any wear.

Thanks, yes it was Clooney. The man could give good, solid advice on dang near anything. I also remember others besides Clooney
that were quite had a lot of knowledge and helped me out several times: Buick and Deere, F-I-T, among others, and I owe all of them
a big thanks.

I did that search, and got some posts, but there were a lot of posts that I initated and replied to, before that, and was looking for those. I did read somewhere that if an account is dead, the moderators will delete the data, so I'm assuming that's the case here.
But, Thanks.
Next project I'm trying to purchase is a 630 (basket case- should be fun!).
Thanks to all that replied.
