Hello all, thought I ask here , Im trying to remove front grill . Do I have to remove radiator first?
Thanks in advance randy

Removed the front nose off my R years ago and the 80, 820 should be about the same. Was pretty easy and nothing to do with the radiator other than gaining access to clean out any debris. My R has shutters so I took them off and worked them over to get them operational, then painted everything.

No need to remove radiator!! But do take off the hood first... four wing-nuts; two on each side. Hood off.. You will see two bolts at top of grill, take out and two bolts at bottom of grill, take out.. Grill should be free.. Radiator cap off... Go to front side of grill, and lift up and forward -- off..

Wow, okay yeah I have the hood off and the two bolts out on top center by air cleaner inlet, radiator cap off . Its loose on top as I can rock it but cant lift up. Really solid on bottom?
Thanks sounds good
Randy

You will also need to remove the two 3/8'' X 6-3/8'' bolts at the bottom that attach the lower grille to the cast iron ''tub'', Key # 18 in the parts drawing.

Bingo! Two #18 were the link, out they come and off with the
grill! Awesome thank you
