Going to be rebuilding the center link arm bracket on my 630. Believe there to only be a couple little plastic washers to replace. Has anyone done this before, and are there any items that I should be looking to replace while taking everything apart.

Thanks

Center-link arm, what are you rebuilding?? Where are these plastic washers? And what is your problem with the center link arm? On the 630 tractor, the center-link on the three-point is hooked to a yoke that has the three-point sensitivity connected to.. A lot of parts inside connected to that center yoke...

Based on what I have studied these plastic washers are on either side of the bracket where the top link attaches to the tractor. For some reason I can not attach a picture to this post.

No plastic washers in that location.. The yoke where you pin the center link too,, is
it leaking oil on the left side of it?? Is your problem a oil leak??

Yes the oils leaking from what would appear to be the left side. I used the 3 point to plant last year and when I was done there is a huge puddle of oil behind the tractor on the floo.

Yes, you will need to replace the AR20149R oil seal on the left end of the load control shaft.. Do you have a service manual for your 630 tractor?? You will need the John Deere service manual No-2008 or a I&T manual JD-16 for detailed instructions to replace this seal . The I&T manual has what you need at a reasonable price. It is quite involved and you will need to make a special tool.. Also, I suggest you check the two bushing on this shaft; they may be wore out?? Follow instructions; you will get the seal changed!!

Didn't see your post back?? You need to compress the dash-pot piston spring inside to get clearance to pull out the yoke shaft.. See the parts break-down in the 620-630 parts book.. And the I&T manual for the 620-630 tractor shows how to make this tool... Not that difficult to make???

The john Deereship got me one of the steel ring seals is this required to stop the leak behind the three point top link?
