4020 Steering Gear Arm to Steering Motor Torque Applicat

Anyone have any tips on how to torque the screws to 300 ft/lb on the steering gear arm?

Front end is removed and the motor turns when applying torque.

If I re-install the front end and tie rods and put it on the ground will there be enough weight to stop the motor from turning?

The axle housing interferes with getting a socket on all screws ... maybe I have to turn the steering gear arm to get at each screw then lower back to ground to torque?

Appreciate any info here.

Thanks.

Thanks for that.

I was concerned about pinning that steering motor to one side and damaging it with 300 ft/lbs.

I will give it a go this weekend and report back.
