Does anyone have an R64268 or R92436 thermostat housing lying around that they could measure for me? Specifically interested in the distance between either of the two bolt holes at the cyl head flange to the bypass tube. Thank you!

A kind seller measured their R64268 housing, and it appears to be too small for my repower project. That leaves the R92436 to measure - I need approximately 6 in and 7.125in from the mounting flange bolt holes to the closest radius of the water pump bypass tube to fit....
Still haven't found a repower book to reference.

You will likely have better luck getting pertinent answers if you would simply post what machine, or engine this part is for. You obviously know the part number, 99.999% of the people reading this have no idea what you are talking about.

scott 730 is right, my request was way too specific to generate many responses.
For the record, if anyone is trying to repower an older 410/510/610/710 series backhoe with the 300 series engine, the newer 4045 block and head use a different T stat housing than the legacy engine. I had fit a rebuilt 4045T into my 410B backhoe frame to replace the original 4219T engine, but was hung up on finding a Thermostat housing that would match the 4045 head and mate to the original 410B water pump..
My search and field measurements narrowed the potential part number down to a just one left to try (R92436). I only found one available in the US, and last week I detoured to Wegner in PA to measure the part - it was a perfect fit.
My 410B is now running again under 4045T power - thanks to everyone for their help!
