6330 Knocking on Start up

I am doing some spring tillage work for a friend with their 6330, 4x4 tractor. Sometimes on start up it sounds like it is knocking. Plenty of oil, no idiot lights on the dash. It goes away in about 5 minutes when it does it. Outside temp. does not seem to change if it does or does not do this. He uses JD 15-40 oil and it was changed before the start of this season along with the filter.

Anyone have any experience with this?

What injection pump is on engine, might be the cold advance assembly if pump has one fitted.

I believe the pump part number is RE507959. It has a tag that says Alliant Power on it as well.

If it is a common rail, this maybe the rail pressure sensor reading too low, making the injectors over inject fuel. Happened to my neighbour's 7530.
