Would anyone have the specifications on a John
Deere part number M808575. It looks to be a metric
castellated nut. John Deere doesnt have one and
cant tell me what size it is any help would be
appreciated

I don't know what size it is, but if you Google the part number, there are plenty of them out there for sale.

Is it that the whole of John Deere doesn't have one, or the dealer you went to doesn't have one, and you don't want to wait for them to get one in for you? Two different scenarios.

Do you have the old one? Even if it needs replacement, you should be able to take it to a hardware store and try metric bolts to find the matching thread to get the size. Calipers on the threads will put you close on the OD to narrow your search. This is where thread pitch gauges are handy.

I got it fixed temporarly. John Deere dealers within a reasonable distance did not have one tried calling one that had one and they couldnt tell me what size it was for some reason.
The old one I could not find came off while I was scraping a driveway. Dont know how that happened because it had a castellated nut in a cotter key guess the cotter key fell out and then not back off.
I was able to determine it was a 16 mm 1.5 pitch nut I was able to find one at a old time hardware store that had a large selection of metric. Now that I know what it is I will get the correct castellated nut for the repair but I got the job done thats the main thing

Thanks for all the replies I was just frazzled and wanted to get the job done appreciate the input

My thought is, in this case the guy likely didn't want to chase it down and tell you (not one of his regular customers?) because he knew you were just looking for the size so you could get one elsewhere.

John Deere changed the parts catalogs a few years ago and took that type of info out of what is accessible to John Q. Public.

I know this is a really old thread but I have the Thread Spec.
JD wasn't any help as mentioned within the thread.

The thread is a 10mm x 1.25

I confirmed this by taking a nut to Lowes Metric Fasteners isle where I found a bolt that fit my nut.

Bonus !! they had a standard hex version (e.g. w/o the Castellations) which allowed me to use a double nut jamb setup to get by.
