Hydraulic line specs

Is there a place or document to get the specs on JD hydraulic hoses, like hose size, fittings, etc?

I have a 510c loader backhoe that needs some new hydraulic hoses. I've found the JD hose part number (AT163115) but none of the online hose places can make it by the JD number.

I found this description at https://partscatalog.deere.com:
13/16" X 975 MM (38-1/2") X 13/16"
But it doesn't say anything about fitting type, hose dia, etc.

I think some fittings are JIC & some ORFS.

Thanks,
Joe

A quick google search of that part numbers shows at least 4 places with that hose available as low as $45.

This has been asked many times before. John Deere dealers have the info you are looking for so they can make the hoses that they don't stock. I don't know of that info being available anywhere to the public. Giving it out wouldn't help JD's parts business.

Thanks for the reply Jim. Not exactly what I wanted to hear, but I understand.

I did search the forum to see if it had been mentioned before, but didn't see it.

The fittings for that hose are 13/16-6 UN-2B on both ends. One end is straight, the other is 90 degrees. The hose is 1/2 ID rated for
3500 PSI (roughly 1 inch OD). Your length of 38 1/2 inches would be about right from flange to flange.

I do have a reliable source, but unfortunately it is not one I am able to share. I will try to provide specific information requested
when I can. In this case I haven't given anything that somebody who had this part, the right measuring equipment, and some patience
couldn't provide as well. That is kind of the limit of what I can offer.

The old hose is there, but one end was wrapped with epoxy and metal as a makeshift repair. I'll probably have to chisel it off.

Oh, that's a good suggestion, I'll get one of those.

I had looked at a cap set like this one:

https://www.amazon.com/Industrial-Hydraulic-Galvanized-Precision-Threading/dp/B09YGDQJ61

but it's pretty expensive just to test connections.

Several yrs ago JD officials decided to remove parts specifications from their parts site & access to parts spec's to the general public.

JD had the best internet parts site until they took all the pertinent spec info out. This new version flat out sucks for both content and site navigation.
