John Deere 870 Compact

Hello. I'm looking at a John Deere 870
compact tractor with tuff tires. Hasn't
been ran in few years has been barn kept.
1 front and 1 rear tire is flat but don't
look rotten. Any Ideal on the cheap side
of a number I show throw at them to get
the ball rolling trying to buy it??

All I have to say is to check in with Dieseltech to see what warnings he has about the injection pump on that Yanmar engine after it has sat.

I have an 870 with FWA, turf tires and an 80 loader which I bought used about 25 years ago (actually wife claims it as her tractor). Been pretty much a trouble free tractor and even handles the loader fairly well if you dont over do it. Starts great in cold weather and is just handy as heck. Did run out of fuel once on a slope and remember is was a while getting air out of system and getting ii started again. Wife says it is not for sale!
