Inspired by a recent post, I want to re-remind tractor buffs, esp those who can't, like myself, count past 2 that shops for big trucks are dandy sources for oversize or very heavy duty items like coolant pipes, cables clamps and general fasteners. Even just dumpster diving can yield some valuable ods and ends. Be sure and get perission or you may get a kitty flywheel dropped on you. These shops are a good place to have good will.

Thats the biggest thing I miss about twisting wrenches for a living . I had boxes filled with bolts and all kinds of things I had collected
