3155 loses hydraulics

I have a buddy with a 3155 tractor with a loader. It gets used daily on a dairy farm. This week after it gets warmed up it loses all hydraulics and steering, let it cool down and
everything works for awhile and repeats. Changed filter didn't see anything cleaned the screen and nothing there either. Any ideas where to go next? Thanks Kevin

Has hyd been used with hyd hi-lo in both speeds & with pto in both on & off positions? what type valve(ind or scv) controls FEL? With hyd oil at operating temp, 3 pt raised look into open hyd filler hole behind seat for moving oil.

Hi the loader is plumbed ind., as far as the hi/lo it works both ways with the pto on or off. After feeding tonight checked in the filler hole and didn't see any running oil. Thanks

Just did my 1640 which is not all that different .
Exact same problems .
This time it was the rockshaft seal and in particular the rockshaft relief valve .
Previously the o ring seals had blown out of the power steering column . Then a couple of summers ago . The O rings and gaskets for the independent PTO crumbled to bits .
My Uncle the previous owner . He was not mechanically inclined . We suspect that he had dumped non spec oils into the transmission .
Then again at the age of the machine . No surprise when gaskets and elastomers breakdown then fail .

Disconnect frt end loader control valve return hose from tractor & cap orifice on tractor. Aim open return hose into clean container or open hyd filler hole behind seat. With loader control valve levers in neutral start engine & no oil should exit open return oil hose. When hyd's stop after oil warms up have a JIC cap handy & disconnect power steering supply line & install cap. Now test function of hyd system.
