John Deere 1020, 1962 model. Today I managed to break off the hydraulics control lever while trying to raise and lower a brushhog on the rear hydraulics. I have a front end loader on the tractor also. The tractor has been sitting for the winter. I had noticed it being harder to operate the control arm last fall, so I guess it maybe rusted and froze up inside. I tried to remove the housing, 3 bolts and in a tight place behind the front hydraulics pump. The housing moves about 1/8 from the chassis, but seems to stop there. I don't want to pry it off, thinking something inside the chassis case is holding it. There is also about a 1 plug with a 1/2 drive in the case, but surrounded by the hydraulic control mounting bracket. The bracket is not held by it, I don't think. There is also a bolt on top the chassis case and near where the control shaft enters it, that maybe holding the shaft in..again, I don't know what's in there...I need advise on how to remove it, whether I can buy parts, or how to jerry-rig it so I have control of my rear hydraulics again...Thanks for any advise...JOHN
