4020 power shift gate

where can I get a power shift gate for a 4020 that's not worn completely out? My shifter is in very good shape, thanks again.

it's the metal shift pattern on the dash plate that the shifter slides through all the forward and reverse gears and then shifts all the way down to park, I don't
know any other way to explain it.

Deere calls it the ''instrument panel'', AR40826, replaced by AR49631.

Dunno if you already have those part numbers, if not they may help you in your search.

Are you trying to do a restoration, so you need a better looking dash panel?? If not, and it shifts through the gears fine, I would leave well enough alone. The shifter slots on my 71 4020 PS are wore ALOT! Evidence of it being on a Montana cattle ranch most of it's life. I consider it just another beauty mark.

I would fix it. I fixed mine.
If the park position is worn out, it will allow the shifter to easily come out of park. Not a good experience when on a hill.

With the spring holding the lever to the right when in park, I can't envision the amount of wear it would take in the park slot to allow it to come out on it's own.

One wonders if he has the spring. My 4020 was minus the spring for years. When I bought the spring, it took me awhile to figure out how it went. Mine was completely gone.

My shifter is tight as it has been rebuilt. Yes, the spring in there and has been there all along. If you look at the "gate", you're supposed to have a downward / left motion to take the lever out of park. The gate will wear after 60 years of use and now the motion is either straight left or upwards and left. This wear will allow the shifter lever to easily slide out of park and into neutral.
