The sign hanging on the tractor says it's a 1949. I think it is older than that based on the styling.
Check the serial number against a known list of S/N versus year. I know I'm being picky - sorry.

Serial chart on this site states unstyled AR in 1949 goes to serial # 271,999.

SN 272000 was the first styled AR, but several sources indicate they did not built unstyled all the way up to 271999.

The last unstyled ar was serial number 271593 built may 18 1949.272000 was built june 7 1949.Wouldn't be nice to find these two tractors, An
unstyled and a styled built the same year
