I've owned this tractor for three years and it's done everything asked. Good power, fwd traction, a few minor issues but overall happy. When reading about potential weaknesses the clutch keeps coming up. My question is, if I don't use the power reverser without clutching, will this extend clutch life? 1800 hrs, used only for 8 shank chisel and 16' disk so no loader or use that would make the reverser tempting to use, so just straight line driving. Just a bit nervous about the clutch and will baby it if there's a way to do. No clutch issues to date. Has a cab, don't want to think about replacement.

Its funny all the problems People have on the
internet with a machine Im just thankful I didnt
have the internet to tell me what a hunk of junk my
equipment was 40 years ago or I would have never
got anything done

Which type shuttle(Sync or power)?? These 2 style shuttles have different style clutch assemblies. Syncro-shuttle requires disengaging traction clutch to shift. Power reverser has damper clutch that remains engaged 100% of the time & depressing foot pedal opens a hyd valve.
