4430 Clutch

Tractor quit moving in the field yesterday. All other hydraulics work fine. PTO included. After cooldown made it to the shop and checked clutch pressure ok. Could still feel slippage after cooldown. Split and replace disc and seals?

When a Permaclutch is set up properly at
installation the engaging fingers will
bottom out and the clutch will slip
before the lined plates are worn away and
the clutch goes ''metal on metal'' and
sheds metal into the transmission and
hydraulic system.

If your clutch operating pressure is good
that is likely what has happened.

I broke into it over the weekend and found drive disk smoked along with a couple of damaged plates. I m trying to find the correct o-rings for the operating piston and shaft for a quad range with serial number in the 65000 range. I can t tell from parts diagram. Thanks in advance! I m going to try and post a pic. I think this is the outer, not sure about inner on shaft.
