JD 350 mower in bed of truck?

Does anyone know if a 350 mower will fit in the back of a pickup truck? I'm not too concerned with the sickle bar, I can secure that while in an upright position. I'm just wondering if the frame itself will fit between the wheel wells of a full-size pickup truck. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

It will fit, BT,DT.

If it has a 9' cutterbar (like mine) they get a bit clumsy and top heavy and are sort of like a big bear trap to handle and be around!

Yes they will fit. I hauled one in the bed of an 82 S10

I hauled one and a big 3 point hay spear with no problem in an F150 with the tailgate up. Lots of straps to keep the 9' cutter bar steady.

And that bar may catch on low overhanging tree branches or
power lines. You are talking about the top end of bar being
around 13 feet in the air. When I hauled a New Idea I took
the bar off. How hard is it to take the bar off?
