4640vs4455

I am trying to mount narrow tires and hubs from a 4640 to 4455. Would the hubs be the same ??

I think that the axles are bigger,, but the wedges may inter change in the cast centers..

Ditto what Tim stated. Have you considered just swapping rims with tires & leaving cast centers attached to axles?

I should have been more clear. I am not thinking to remove cast centres from any axle. I do only want to bolt wheels over. In other words , are the cast irpn hubs the same forthe purpose of bolting the wheels to either 4450 or 4640 hubs??

Which model are you referring to 4450 or 4455? On Tractor talk you stated 4450 not 4455!! The rear wheels between those 2 models are totally different. I know because I've owned a 4255 with NON rack & pinion rear wheels since 1993. I think 4450 rear wheels will fit 4640 center disks while 4455 will not interchange easily.
