Does the Styled A and B use the same size cultivator? Looking at one on a styled B and wondering for an A

Thanks,
Robert

Yes, the styled A and B use the same size cultivator.

At ser.# 42200 (1937) the frame on B models was lengthened so that the same mounted implements could
be used on A and B models.

The cultivator is the same but the frame
on an A is wider than the B. Some of the
mounting bracket parts are different.

That what I was kind of wondering. I know the front cast "pedestal" and grill are wider so I would think the square cultivator rig in the front would be bigger and/or long rod arms that branch off the side from that would be longer.

The cultivator dad had was called a A B G cultivator so I assumed it would fit all three. I believe we used it on a 1950 B and a 1946 A. The 1950 B with Rollo-Matic was a better choice. We started cultivating corn when it was so short you needed shields and you had to use 2nd gear on the B. With that B in first you had to get off and set stacks to see if it was moving. At least that's how I remember it.
