Does anyone have the dimensions of the short side of the JS227 clutch adjustment tool?? Every talks of the long
side but I need the short side confirmation PLEASE
 
MM welcome to YT! Does this help? I know there was also a post made with discussion around the dimensions of the tool. It would take me a while to find it. Post back if this does not cover what you need. If you are saying that the tool also has a purpose to measure something on the side that would be the above the ID or top side of the wording then no, this is all I have.

Measuring one of the 1010 or 2010 engine clutches? I have a note that the outside legs on the short side are 1" above the inner horizontal surfaces and the center leg is 1/2". I have not confirmed that by checking an actual JD227 gauge so cannot guarantee that is correct. Use at your own risk.
 
Mine is 11/16 from outside to lowest point of short side and 1/4 inch in the center down from the outside. Ill try to send picture those are the measurements even though my picture makes them look smaller. What are you adjusting may I ask? I know the back side of my dual stage one is pto for some stuff

I don't remember the source of the note I have; it may have come for some forum discussion years ago. That is why I said I had not confirmed the dimensions. You have a gauge in hand, I suggest mmesserschmidt go with your actual measurements (the pictures distort things).
