1520 PTO Seal

I'm in need of changing the PTO seal in my 1520. Per the shop manual I have removed the 3 bolts that hold the housing to the
rear of the tractor. Anyone have any tricks to getting the housing/shaft to pull out? Thanks in advance.

What does the shop manual tell you to do?

If the manual says thats how it comes out and it wont move I have half an old pto shaft that I dont care about the u joints. Hook it up, bend it and tap on the square shaft. Should pop right out with light tapping. I have a couple around and a big one for rotating feederhouse chain on combine
