4320 air intake stack

Looking for advice on the air intake and filter options. Pulled my stack and top piece. The air take in bowl is cracked stained with no filter and the intake pipe is a homemade pipe. Are there any after market or used options available?

I agree with Scott some clarification would be helpful. In your previous post on the 4320 drawbar it looks like you are familiar with the JD online parts diagrams. From your description of a ..bowl.. it sounds like someone put a centrifugal dust separating pre-cleaner on your tractor at some point as shown as an example in the link. Originally your tractor just had a weather cover cap with a course screen over the bottom air inlet opening. It is available new from Deere PN AR72337 priced at $40. A centrifugal pre-cleaner has no ..filter.. in it. It uses the angled fins on the air inlet to swirl the intake air stream. Heavier dust particles in the air spin out to the outside of the catch bowl and drop down to accumulate. The bowl is occasionally emptied as needed. The stack is R49526, Deere is charging their normal ..green paint.. price on that at $235, a web search shows places having used ones for sale at about $90. The parent company of YT All States Ag Parts is one of them. You might try Dons Tractor Salvage in KS to see what he might charge for one, just do a search to get his contact info.

No way, that thing is blue his tractor is green! ; > ) What you are saying is more or less what I told him. Although the one you show may fit his pipe being 2 1/4 inch. Great minds think alike or one may just not read what the other one said.

I dont think it originally had a clear bowl like 4020. It probably had long stack on it.

R49526 stack ASAP has used paint yourself for 89, new chrome for 121 I am sure even the local farm store would have the pipe. Hopefully the old stack has the mounting where it bolts to the muffler

Ar72337 cover on the top ASAP has one for 21 bucks

When I started typing my reply your reply had not yet posted. What you said above is one of my pet peeves. I see a lot of people do that frequently.

Thank you all for the posts. The air intake/ filter stack on the tractor is not original. The air cleaner is very similar to those listed for the earlier model tractors 730,630,720,620 ect.. The stack pipe is some random pipe cut to
fit with some mesh screen looks like window screen glued on one end. The main thing was to make sure I was not missing something on prior to taking this apart and rebuilding it.
