Rear step and tool box on 2 cylinder tractors

Just a few weeks ago I bought a left hand rear step for my 51 B. I found it on an online auction. I know Dad had them on his A back in the day. I think they
were after market. Anyway I had to work on it a bit before I put it on. Sure is a good idea, a step and the toolbox is where you need it.

Uncle had one on his 60, this tractor planted, cultivated, and loaded manure, could hardly find the tools from the dirt and dust in the toolbox. He wore out a few 60's in his time, don't remember how good they were when he got them, but finished them off and bought a different one. Funny thing he parked them and parted them out to help pay for the next one. Only thing left from the last one was a tire and rim. He could move mountains with a 60 if you gave him enough time. Raised 7 kids, farmed, and worked full time at a factory, with help from my Dad. Dad taught his oldest son how to drive and operate the tractor and pickup. One day while they were working together, Dad told his nephew to get the tractor and then take the pickup to the field, uncle said he can't do that, Dad said, THE HELL HE CAN'T. My cousin likes telling that story, especially since both Dad and Uncle Duane are both gone. Dad was a good teacher/father. Thanks Dad.

On the 3 tractors with power troll the lever was on the left side so could not
mount from left side unless we took the control lever off because not enough
clearance. We had fenders on tho including the one without any lift, just hand
lift cultivators. Had to mount and dismount from right side.
