Roosa Master pump

I put a turbo on the 4240 and picked up a little HP. I knew it would not be a lot with the stock fuel setting and it would be wise to not overdo it. I think about 125 would be the upper limit and still keep the drivetrain intact. I gained about 10 HP over stock but the torque rise is fantastic now, which is a nice feature. It has the same HP at 1950 RPM as at 2200, almost constant down to 1650 where it drops to 116. Is there an easy adjustment to gain another 5 or so HP? I won't send it off to be worked on for a few HP but if I could do it myself I might.

I rebuilt the engine in my 4240 a few years ago and I dyno it and it came in at 110HP. A few months later I installed the turbo back on it (turbo was on before the OH) and put it on my dyno again and it was at 135HP. The injection pump was also rebuilt at the time of the OH and I had the pump guy increase the fuel. (There is very little adjustment to the pump so I am told)

That's the model DM four roller pump with a limited range of adjustment externally. It CAN be set to flow more fuel, but the rotor assembly must be removed and reset in the centrality tool. Different size roller shoes are used to increase plunger travel for more fuel delivery, but it MUST be set correctly on the centrality gage.

This is what I try to achieve when I turbo a 4020,,and have the pump tweeked up a bit,, they live a good life at the 135 hp range.
